clint's doing a fine job, they need to change those screwed up rules that the so called previous management had,get the rules so you can go to carolina on friday night or carolina cars can race at el on sat.night without having to change carbs.,heads,tires,etc.

I believe they would be way ahead of the game to adjust the rules at Carolina to better match the rules at ELS if they want to do anything. I've said for years all tracks need to have the same rules, went to the IMCA National in Iowa in September they had 150+ stock cars and the best racing I've ever seen, but they have the same rules package in about 15 neighboring states.

The fact is Carolina is the track hurting for car counts not ELS. I don't blame Clint for trying to link the two tracks but believe he'd be way better off have the 7 or 8 Carolina cars adjust instead of 20+ ELS cars. The biggest difference between the two track is tires that's easy enough to fix. The head rules at Carolina fit the ELS spec heads therefore they can deduct 100lbs. Carb rule should be unaltered 4777 650cfc at both track. Let us not also forget that the Carolina cars may just be more competitive then you might think, hence the sucess of the #14 car late in the season. Those cars are not that short on HP and that's not always a determining factor at ELS anyway. Whatever they decide I'm with Chris hope they do it soon, building a new car ourselves. Take care, God Bless.

I heard the only thing they were changing was the carb. and weight rule. I think the 4777 is what their going too as the carb.

i have been saying that on other tracks thread for years...
Why cant rules be the same so we all could go anywhere with out working our broke azzzes off every week just to spend our money, changing stuff on our cars just to race at another track.

because they don't want the rules to be same at different tracks because they want you at their track !! they could careless about track up the street!! this aint the case with east and carolina since being run by same person promoter wise. but other tracks care for themselves and who can really blame them!!it does suck and i wish they were same every where but will never happen!!
